About Speech Services
Speech and Language Pathologists provide services to people who are in need of communication and language support.
Currently at Connected self we provide services to people looking for assistance with:
- Late talkers
- Play and social communication/interaction
- Employing and understanding words
- Social language and communication for ASD
In the future we will be expanding our scope to cover a broader range of services in line with our clinicians specialties and are happy to consider cases on an individual basis.
Robert Grover

With a broad range of life experience, Robert is a Speech Pathologist who works with children, young people and families with a particular interest in late talkers and social skills. He believes that building trusting relationships and conducting therapy in a playful engaging environment is paramount to achieving everyone's goals.
His work is strongly influenced by the Hanen approach to late talkers which focuses on engaging young learners and family in a holistic evidence based approach. He also has a strong passion for practical social skills and communication through play and exploration, especially with clients who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
When not at work Robert is with his newborn child, working on recording music with friends, or starting another tabletop adventure.
